EDVIN MARTON

Edvin Marton is an Emmy Award winner Hungarian violinist and composer. An audience of 300 million people discovered Edvin, an alumnus of the prestigious Juilliard School of Music when he performed two original compositions at the 2006 Winter Olympics for Figure Skating Gold Medalists Evgeni Plushenko, Tatiana Totmianina and Maxim Marinian. Later in 2006, Edvin became the first Hungarian to win an Emmy Award (Best Composition).

Since establishing himself as a true romantic virtuoso composer and performer in the modern classical genre, Edvin Marton has sold over 5 million albums worldwide, won an MTV Music Award and the Eurovision Song Contest in 2008, performed in concert with Seal and Supertramp and redefined pop/rock hits (Metallica – Nothing else matters, Queen – Bohemian Rhapsody, Coldplay -Clocks).
